Useful medical sites for foreign patients in Korea: public tools for clinics, drugs, fees, disputes and visas

A clinic's own website cannot tell you whether the clinic is registered, accredited or listed in a public database. Korea has a number of public tools that can: lists of hospitals registered to treat foreign patients, accreditation lists, a drug database, fee information, a dispute agency, help lines and medical visa pages. This page gathers them in one place.

We started from the Useful Site List on Medical Korea, kept only the entries that relate to medical care, and added public tools that a patient can use. We opened every site on 29 October 2026 and kept only the ones that loaded. Each entry has a one-sentence description based on what the site says about itself, the publisher and the languages we saw.

How to use this list

  • Pick the category that matches your question, such as checking a clinic or finding help.
  • Many Korean public tools exist only in Korean. A browser's page-translation function can help, but confirm names, dates and conditions on the original page.
  • Check a clinic in more than one place. Each list covers a different group of institutions, and the site that publishes it says what it includes.
  • Phone numbers, opening hours, fees and rules change. Confirm them on the site before you rely on them.
  • This page is general information, not medical or legal advice, and a listing here is not an endorsement of a site's content.

Each description is based on what the linked site says about itself: its page text, menus and search forms, read on 29 October 2026. We recorded the HTTP status each page returned. The starting point was the Medical Korea Useful Site List. We left out its entries for regional tourism offices and general government sites, because they are not about medical care. Besides government and public bodies, the list includes a professional society, an international accreditation body, a volunteer interpreting group and a district medical tour centre. Contact details, hours and languages can change after that date.
